Are you tired of your makeup creasing and shifting all day? Well, then baking might just be what you need to do to turn everything around. First and foremost, this has absolutely nothing to do with being in the kitchen! (Sigh of relief) We will take you through a step-by-step process on what baking exactly means and how you should go about doing it.
This is probably the most important step if you want your makeup to last longer so don’t ever skip it. Start by washing your face and hydrating it with a moisturizer that works best for your skin type. “Not to Prime is a Crime” is only too true, which is why applying a primer next to minimise all those pores is a must. You can use the Rang De Primer for this step as it hydrates the skin, reduces creasing, and is enriched with natural ingredients like Irish Moss, Coconut Water, and Sesame Protein.
It is now time to start applying your base layer. The Rang De BB Creams are perfect for the job as they have a lightweight formulation, provide hydration, can be built up for higher coverage, and contains our favourite SPF 50. Try applying the product with a makeup sponge or brush for a - more seamless base.
It is important to conceal your under-eye area while baking so they look brighter, rested, and refreshed. Try using a makeup sponge or a brush to apply the concealer for a more natural and finished look. Creamy concealers with medium to full coverage usually work wonders while baking.
Baking your makeup is the act of applying a translucent setting powder to the areas of the face that tend to crease over time. To start the process, apply the powder to all the parts of your face that experience creasing like the under-eye, forehead, smile lines and chin. The Rang De Translucent Pressed Powder allows you to have a smooth luminous finish for the perfect base that lasts all day. Now leave the powder on for about 5-7 minutes and let it bake! While the powder is working its magic you can head on to your eye makeup, define your brows and add some long-lasting mascara. Try applying some setting spray between layers for an extra long lasting base.
Once the powder has had enough time to bake, use a medium-sized brush to smooth it out and dust off all the excess powder off your face. If you feel the need to apply some more powder you can do so, but don’t forget to add some setting spray between layers just so the powder adheres to your face easily. Once you are pleased with the results you can move on to applying the rest of your makeup such as blush, bronzer, and highlight.
Once you have completed your look consider yourself baked and beautiful! You are ready for the day with a budge-proof and crease-free look.
